Focus - November is Alzheimer's Disease Awareness Month

Like many other mysterious and debilitating diseases, Alzheimer's holds a lasting impact on the lives of Alzheimer's patients' caregivers, families, friends, and communities. This month is set aside to spread awareness, encourage prevention, and enrich the lives of those affected by the disease. As a company that places healthcare professionals in long term care environments, we know that many of the people our patients work with are affected by Alzheimer's, whether directly or indirectly. A little known fact, Alzheimer's is the sixth leading cause of death in the United States, and yet, awareness of the disease is still fairly low.
